Biography
Team Leader Gerry has dedicated his professional life to public service, and knows just how much it means to give back to the community and pull through tough times with other people. As a four-time veteran of the London Marathon, he's also no stranger to a challenge – though as Gerry notes wryly, at his age he probably doesn't have too many left in him. 'This expedition is about helping others find themselves again after hardship,' he notes, 'and I'm proud to help people do exactly that.' Gerry is fundraising for Flutter, a kidney cancer charity established by his friend Mary after her diagnosis.
